OZZY OSBOURNE - Let Me Hear You Scream (SIngle 2010)

61 años de puro heavy (¿metal, drugs, trash?): está grande, sí, pero es Ozzy. Tras colaborar con Slash para su disco solista, después de tres años de Black Rain, y mientras continúa envuelto en querellas legales con Iommi, el Principe de las Tinieblas lanzó el primer single de su nuevo álbum que se llamará Scream y no Soul Sucka, como estaba previsto en un primer momento pero tuvo que ser cambiado debido a la "recepción negativa" de los fans (¿? Háganse machos, por favor). La cosa es que, como claramente el mundo se ha vuelto orate, "Let Me Hear You Scream" fue estrenado durante un episodio de CSI: New York en el que fue utilizado para musicalizar una revuelta carcelaria.

Muchos dirán "otra-vez-lo-mismo-de-siempre"; otros, sin embargo, lanzarán un "eh, sí, Ozzy, meta-a-a-al!": un riff demoledor, un estribillo hímnico y un increíble solo a cargo del nuevo violero, el griego Gus G., que entró en la formación en reemplazo del bestial Zakk Wylde ("Nos estábamos pareciendo mucho a Black Label Society", alegó Ozzy).

Para Septiembre está anunciada la publicación del nuevo álbum del guitarrista espacial y ya anda rondando el primer single de su disco Anomaly: Outer Space. En lo personal, encontré muy buena la canción: tiene onda, groove, peso y sin dejar de lado su sonido caracteristico suena actual, lo que por cierto, me parece un acierto. Me recuerda a lo que Alice Cooper hizo en el disco Brutal Planet. Espero que el disco sea igual de bueno que el single y ojalá se convierta en uno de los mejores lanzamientos de este año.
